New York is approaching the one-year mark of moving its youth and family court cases to virtual platforms. Even with taking this precaution, COVID-19 is still on the rise. Attorney Stephen Riebling spoke with The Imprint News on how virtual hearings could be hindering their client's chances in their cases.

“I’ve had clients say to me, ‘I wish we could have actually been in court. Maybe that would have made a difference.' That’s their perception", he stated.
