Document for release of prisoner, Bail Bond

Many police in New York claim that the changes to the state's bail system have done more harm than good, but the data is not backing up those statements. 

Attorney Riebling discusses a recent client who was an addict and charged with a low-level drug offense. If he had been charged under the old system, he would have had to post bail. Posting bail would have caused this client to lose his job given his addiction struggles.
